vid.wmv
In the game files is a video titled vid.wmv. It appears to be a screen recording of a conversation on AOL Messenger between “AAnderson” and “GJason”.
Here is the chat log:
Todo: chat log.
- It has been confirmed by Kira that the “Victor Laurie” is a mistake, the name should be David Bunch.
- Given the name of the process started in the window beneath the sword icon (ChatSpy.exe), it can be speculated that David Bunch was spying on his employees.
___.zip
In the game files is a password protected zip archive called ___.zip. It can be opened using the password SKINNED, which can be obtained from the door area in ARENA.
The only file in the archive is BASILISK - early build remove.smc. It can be opened as an image, or in the SNESy+ emulator from Basilisk.

ROM
As a ROM file, it must be placed next to the original Basilisk ROM in order to be loaded properly.
Upon loaded, you directly booted into a forest with a missing texture from Basilisk 2000 on the ground. In the area is an error sprite from Basilisk 2000, which has this to say:
- Hey you made it.
- All the way back here.
- That's when it started after all.
- The skinning, the scared alchemy to create a true basilisk.
- They started with a man.
- Although some called him a monster.
- They sought to make his outside as warped as his inside.
- They started with the skin, it had to go first.
- Little by little they removed almost everything.
- Util they finally made it, a true basilisk.
- A true monster.
- A they kept it, fed it, poked it, and tortured it.
- Then they locked it up and worst of all.
- They f o r g o t it.
- But it lived, somehow, it seems.
- At least in the back of David's mind it did.
- Or was it David all along?
- Or did he simply help with the experiment?
- Or did he just work in the same office building?
- Or was it all just a nightmare.
- He couldn't remember. He didn't want to either.
- But it lives.
- And it will live.
- And it will grow.
- And it will starve.
- And it will feast.
The game closes after the last line of dialogue.
